Samuel COLEBANK

                       1765 BIRTH: Family History Records of Warren L. Colebank, Bremerton WA; NOTE:
    Family stories handed down agree that Peter Colebank came from the British
    Isles, but do not agree on which country. Ellet Colebank, great grandson of
    Peter, has an entry in his family Bible that Peter was born in Scotland and his
    wife, Sarah, in Ireland but kidnapped to Scotland as a child.  However, Thornton
    Colebank, grandson of Peter, said his parents, Samuel (son of Peter) &
    Elizabeth, were of English & Welsh extraction.

    1791 MARRIAGE: Family History Records of Warren L. Colebank, Bremerton WA;
    NOTE: Evidence thus far would seem to indicate that Peter & Sarah immigrated to
    America from the England, Scotland boundary area.

    1810-1820 DEATH: Family History Records of Warren L. Colebank, Bremerton WA;
    NOTE: Peter Colebank was listed in the 1810 census of Monongalia County, Va.
    (now W.Va.) as head of the family with a wife, two boys and one girl. Peter and
    Sarah are not found in later census'so we may assume they passed away before
    the 1820 census. Buried in Fort Martin Cemetery.
