I got this information first hand when I went back to Michigan in 1978.
Her name is also listed as Francis Sokolowski on Adam Skiba's affidavit of
witnesses for his naturalization papers. She suffered a major stroke in her
early 60's which left her in a wheel chair for many years until her death.
