Notes:
                       Frieda was killed on December 4, 1944 by an Allied bombing raid on the city of
    Heilbronn.  She and her husband and daughter were warned to get out of the
    city, but they stayed in their home, seeking refuge in the basement of the
    building they lived in.  The building was hit by the Allied bombing, caught
    fire, and the Dewald family was asphixiated by the smoke.
