                   NOTE:  Peter Browne signed the Mayflower Compact, and sailed on the Mayflower

NOTE:  There are still discrepancies in this record that have not been solved.  Several birth dates are given for Peter Browne: 1582, 1586, or "before 1600."  His death is recorded as 4 October 1633, but could have been anytime between 25 March 1633, when he was taxed, and 28 October 1633, the date of the inventory after his death.

NOTE:  The following children listed for Peter Browne in the Ancestral File and Ordinance Index are in error: (1) Martha, about 1630, (2) John about 1632, (3) Peter, about 1635, and (4) Isabelle, 9 June 1636.  The "Alphabetical List of Passengers on the Mayflower" and "Peter Browne of the Mayflower" both state that Peter married twice, and had only two children by each wife.  These children have been deleted from the family group record.
