                       Byron and Fletcher (2 eldest sons) elected to foresake the old homestead
    moving to the adjoining county of Autauga, leasing a farm.  Both were married.
    Unfortunatley James Fletcher was accidentally killed there, and Byron stayed
    until after the death of his father, then returning to the old homestead in
    Chilton County where he farmed until retiring and moving to Selma.
