    1. Pleasant Tirey Ford - was in the War of 1812 - Private - enrolled First day of September 1812 in Captain William M. Morrison's 2nd Regiment Kentucky Militia serving until October 1812.
    2. From manuscript (written by Tirey Ford) the following was found: "My father stopped in Howard County, Missouri in 1818 and stayed until 1821 - then moved to a place east of where Middle Grove stands, then part of Ralls County, Missouri and now part of Monroe County, Missouri. My Mother died and I went to live with my Aunt Kizzie Goff. In 1831 my father moved back to Monroe County, Missouri - that year - grandfather lived with us, directing us in our work - my grandmother was a mild spoken woman I obeyed her through LOVE. In 1832 - my father married again to Mary Williams - In 1835 being 17 - my father sent me to northern part of Missouri - then a wilderness with a lot of stock hogs. I located in what is now Scotland County near where Memphis, now stands. I cleared ten acres and planted corn. I lived alone, did my own cooking. That Spring and Summer I had a lonesome time. No company but my dog, the wolves and the Indians. I went back to my father who settled a place 16 miles from Paris, west. Where brother Jake & I opened a farm of 45 acres. There I made a home until I married."

MARRIAGE:
Hugh Wilson Ford (son of Jacob Harrison Ford and wife Mayr Abernathy) md - Tomie Ellen Adams - their dau - Anna W. Ford - md Mr. Hinde - Birth date? 13 Spr 1935 - I doubt it - probably Certify Date of, Tirey Manuscript - 22 July 1935 - She had this date on Pheasant Ford's service in War of 1812 - (Probably dates she prepared this information for Book above).
From his grand Niece - Anna W. Ford Hinde - she has date of 13 Sept 1935 on it - her birthday or date she certified it - I do not know - she lives in Independance, Missouri - she rent this copy to Ellen Byrne for her book.

NOTES:
It looks like this is one person and not two as there is not a comma between them. Tirey stated in his letter that his brother had nine children by his 1st wife and his commas show nine children. There are women with male's middle names and men with women's names in 1800's. I'm not sure of the sex either - none on IGI.
