Abner Bartlett went to Danby, VT about 1795 - built a house on the hill shich is still standing. 2. Discrepancy on spelling of wife's first given name Drusilla or Drucilla? 3. Wife remarried after Abner's death to a Mr. Griffith.

David, built a triphammer in 1810, he made machinery and edge tools for 30 years and operated a Blacksmith shop in connection with it. Built a good reputation of making best scythes in the country. He as a Selectman from 1821 to 1824, in 1840 he moved with his family to Holland Purchase, NY

Moved to Danby, VT in 1795; In 1815 moved to Holland Purchase, NY-traveling with an ox team & settled near Collins Center, NY. In 1850 he moved to a farm one mile south of what is now Lawtons, NY and built a house which is still standing and which is owned by some of his descendants.

Folder - Bartlet - By Louis A. Bartlett - found at Orlando, FL Public Library. NOTES: 1. Abel Bartlett went with his father to Danby, VT - Blacksmith - worked in shop of Brother David Bartlett. He had a bruning coal pit on the farm, with a cabin nearby. He and two other persons were sleeping in the cabin, it caught fire and before he could escape , he inhaled the flame and survived only a short time. He invented the Bartlett Polar Regrigerator. 2. Wife Hannah Boomer Bartlett widow living in Danby VT with her daughter Ann, she was over the age of 80 years at this time. 3. Daughter Ann Bartlett never married.

Bartlett) found Orlando, FL Public Library. NOTES: 1. Daniel Bartlett, occupation farmer, owned a very large farm,he kept 40 cows besides other stock. A Selectman a few years, In the Legislature several years following 1834. He was a Justice of Peace from 1825 to 1841.
