NOTES: 1. John Corless Jr. - He was age 6 when he moved to Randolph, Utah with his parents. He worked at the B.Q. ranch for ten yhears after his marriage. Five of their children were born there. In 1902 they decided to move to Canada, a new country ideal fro stock raising. He homesteded near Fort McLeod, Alberta, Canada. then he moved to Raymond, Alberta, Canada where he bought a home and a wheat farm. He leased his farm to become manager of the Knight Sugar Company and ranch. this large ranch now belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. The Corless family helped to promote the first Stampede in Raymond(a local Celebration). John passed away the 15 day of January 1911. He and his wife were parents to 7 children and have a posterity of 82. (submitted by Belle Corless Harker
NOTES: 1 Annie Thomas (Kennedy) Corless - Made burial clothes and helped to lay out and take care of may peop who died. 2. She came from Scotland with her parents at the age of 3 years.
He married Annie Thomas Kennedy 28 Apr 1893 at Randolph, Rich, Utah . Annie Thomas Kennedy was born at of Kilmarnock, Ayr, Scotland 1 Aug 1869 daughter of John Kennedy, Sr. and Elizabeth Black .
