NOTES: Husb age 27 when he came to America; Came to Plymouth on Ship Anne from
England. He was a wine-cooper; purchased land-Dartmouth, MA in Jul 1623; he was
a surveyor. He entred an agreement into the town records that he agreed to pay
his grandson, Benjamin Foster, 8 pounds when he reached age 21....On condition
the said Bartlett could use all the land belonging to Richard Foster for 10
yrs. He also insisted his dau had to raise the child & couldn't demand any
money for doing so. She & the boy had terrible quarrels.

Robert bartlett-of Hartford, CT-born in Sussex, ENGLAND 1606-came to America in
Ship "Ann" (2nd vessel that came after Mayflower 1623)-age 17 yrs. His name is
inscribed on a shaft, with 100 others, at Hartford Center Church, the oldest in
the State, as one of the first settlers of Hartford. Married Mary Warren (dau
of Richard Warren, one of the signers of the Compact in the Mayflower. She
came on the same ship as her husband with her mother/step-mother. They had 8
children.
QUESTIONS: Wife's second husband, md 1692 or 1699? Note that he died in 1628???
