NOTES:
    1. William(Billy) Bartlett, came to Vermont with Governor Chittenden and assisted him in clearing up the old Chittenden homestead, which is now owned and accupied by Marvin W. Clark in the town of Williston, Vermont.  At the expiration of two years Mr. Bartlett returned to Connecticut. . He married and immediately returned to Vermont, accompanied by wife and all his worldly goods - by Ox team to their new home in the wilderness.  Settled on 200 acres in Jericho, VT, Served in the War of 1812, helped build church.  In the Prime of life he was killed while helping to build a Barn.
