    1. Israel Bartlett, Was a Soldier in French Indian was, served as Lieutenant and Captain during the Revolutionary War.
    2. Israel Bartlett, was made guardian of his mother when his father died, his mother at the timeof his father death became delirious, Israel asked the council to relieve him, 1763, as he was going eastward ( Cumberland records).  He removed to Mt.Desert, ME probably about 1785
