Jacob Bartlett, Farmer & Blacksmith - settled at Providence, RI, he removed to Mendon, MA, where he bought land on 29 Oct 1696; may have died in Cumberland(there is one account saying so) 2. In 1737/1738 Jacob Bartlett gave land to sons Jacob Bartlett Jr. and Joseph Bartlett. 3. No birth dates or places were on Quaker records.

Abner Bartlett - blacksmith & farmer - lived in Bellingham, MA went to Glouchester 4 May 1742 - inherited land from wife's father - sold it to John Harris 17 October 1760. Highway laid out on his land 22 March 1737, a selectman from 1743 to 1750 - member of the Town Council - surveyor of highways. 2. They were Quakers and they do not keep records of births and etc. 3. Abner Bartlett's Will date 23 November 1784 and proved 13 December 1784 - he left his estate to wife and three sons. 4. Wife Abigail Arnold Bartlett daughter of John Arnold son of Richard Arnold ( who died 1710) son of Thomas Arnold (who died September 1674)

Jacob Bartlett Jr. Lived in RI, Made Scythes and General Blacksmithing, a member of Town Council, a Quaker. 2. Will 19 November 1760 3. Quakers do not keep birth dates or places , they do not put them on headstones in Cemeteries. 4. Jacob Bartlett married his 2nd wife Lydia Muzzy in Quaker Manner.

Joseph Bartlett was a scythe manufacturer & farmer, May 1746 admitted Freeman of Providence. He inherited his father's house 6 Feb 1737-8. Member of the Smithfield monthly Meeting. Member of town council. He was interested in Blacksmithing , but his main occupation was farmer. 2. Joseph Bartlett was buried at Old Bartlett Burying ground. 3. A pious couple, educated children in religion, Joseph composed several poems, he had an enviable reputation for conduct and purity of mind, an earnest pious, Old Quaker.
He married Sarah Albee Abt 1698 at of Norfolk, Massachusetts . Sarah Albee was born at of Cumberland, Providence, Rhode Island Abt 1676 .
