NOTES:    1. Samuel was a Constable; Justice of Peace; Treasurer;
               held office `til he died. He was elected to General Assembly
               - Legislature of Rhode Island; served several terms; served
               with Jeb Bartlett. An extensive farmer - also did large
               Blacksmithing Business. When his father died he made admini-
               strator. His homestead was near the other Bartletts at
               Senechetaconn__(sp?)
            2. Child #1 died at Ft. William Henry; died while a soldier
               during the French & Indian War. (Lake George)

NOTES: 
    1.  Noah Bartlett  was surveyor of highways-1702; Constable-1706; Justice/Peace;
bought many lands. He bought 80 acres of land from John Inmann 9 Sep 1721. He
held different town offices-Cumberland, RI Records. 
    2. Wife was administrator of Noah's estate; In 1762 she became delirious. Son Israel was made her guardian. Son Christopher and his son Israel removed 1785 to Mt. Desert, ME; 
    3. Noah Bartlett was a soldiers in French  & Indian War; Lieut. in Rev. War. 
    4. Son Jeho (sometimes called John) settled in Sutton Abt 1780.
