NOTES:    1. Of Hingham and removed to Amesbury, about 1687, and lived
               in part of town - now known as South Hampton.
            2. The Family tradition says Samuel had a second wife who was
               the mother of his youngest child, but there is no record of
               such a marriage.
            3. On the final settlement of the boundary between New Hampshire
               and Massachusetts, that portion of Amesbury where Jewell's
               lived - fell to the former State and is now South Hampton.
