NOTES:
    1. Information from the above book , Oscar L. Wilcox lived in Hopkinton during his boyhood and early school days, a few years he had a meat business in Hopkinton and richmond - also farmed.  For 11 years he lived in Shamnock, for 1 year he was employed on the Electric cars in Providence. Then for three years farming in South Kingston.  In the Spring of 1899 he had purchased the C.W. Brown Coal, Wood and Hay business in Westerly. He continued successfully in that business.  
    2. He was a member of Pawcatuck Lodge Number 90 A.F,  and A.M.
