From the above book  - Representative Men and Old Families of RI -  Lyman Wilcox was a farmer by occupation and resided in Cumberland - Politics frist a whig - then a Republican - Old age - lived with son Stephen - began at age 62 - He did not belong to a church, but had a good way  - "a man of morality and sobriety" respected by all who knew him.  Buried in Old Elder Ballow Metting house Cemetery.
    2. Wife Syliva Ann Wilcox - lived with son Stephen in her old age - died in her 81st  year - Stephen made her declining years comfortable.
