NOTES:  1. 1726 - Came first to New Castle, PA. Lived 6 years in Derry,
              Lancaster Co., PA. 1732 - moved to Augusta Co., VA. With him were
              Nephew Israel and his wife, Elizabeth Starke. They lived on
              Christian's Creek near the present town of Staunton - most of them
              moved to KY and TN.
           2. Captain Gilbert CHRISTIAN was a celebrated Indian Fighter. In 1756
              a battle in which he was the commander at age 80 years. Went from
              Scotland to Ireland (1702).
           3. Child #3's 2nd spouse, James TRIMBLE. "Among the descendants was
              Gov. Allen Trimble, of Ohio."
