Selah Savage was barely 15 years of age when the Lexington alarm happened, he enlisted shortly after on 10 May 1775 in to the 4th company 2nd Regiment - He was at the Battle of Bunker Hill.
He married Thankful Johnson 6 May 1755 at Cromwell, Middlesex, Connecticut . Thankful Johnson was born at Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut 5 Jul 1735 daughter of Thomas Johnson and Susanna White .
