Second wife, Sarah? step-mother of children below. They were named as her representatives. This seems to indicate she was a step-mother of these men in 1807. She took slaves in lieu of land (a document). 5. Child: John lived near Lexington, no children by either marriage. 6. Child: Gideon lived mainly in Shelby Co, KY. 7. Child: James lived in Southern KY. 8. Child: Archibald, hardshell Baptist minister. 9. Sarah Newman, possibly her name was Sarah Margaret, may have been the widow Peasley who was Margaret Clapton.
