    1. Discrepancy on year of death 1719 or 1720.
    2. From Book #DAR972.981BRA:
          [2a]. The Elder Dudley removed to Barbados prior to 1702.
          [2b]. Appointed Judge 30 Jun 1707, of the High Court of Admiralty at Barbados.
          [2c] . In 1711, he wrote to Benjamin Coleman (of Boston) that he had intended to send his eldest son Dudley (the testator of 1747) toNew England "but now resolve him for London".
          [2d]. This son matriculated at Oxford in 1723 and became record of St. Phillip's Barbados.
          [2e]. Was painted (The Judge of Admiralty at Barbados) by Sir Godfrey Kneller & several mezzo tints made from the picture survive. (One of these is reproduced in the excellent biography of the Judge in          Sibley's Harvard Graduates (Vol. IV pp. 317-20).
    3. Dudley Woodbridge came from one of the most distinguished families of Massachusetts - which came from Stanton in Wiltshire, England.
