    1. Jared Bidwell - a Farmer - Had a Saw Mill and Lime Quarry. He lived and died at Watertown, CT.
    2. He was a constable and tax collector at Watertown, Ct for a number of years he was a Deacon in his church.  He was also a lumber dealer
    3. (page 11) son Chauncey Bidwell identified with the interests of Seth Thomas in the clock factory ther over 50 years - a familiar and commanding figure on horseback on the streets in later years.
