NOTES:
    1. Ephraim Bidwell and Timothy Hollister went to Salem Township, Wayne County, PA in 1800 and lodged in a hut used in a sugar camp, amile north of Little Meadows.  Returned to Connecticut, they brought their families the next spring.  He settled on Bidwell Hill.  From the Virgin Forest he develped a farm and built his cabin home.
    2. He served in the Revolutionary War as a Private.
