NOTES:
    1. Enodias Bidwell served in the Revolutionary War, afterward he owned Cotton's Tavern and Store on the Corner of Tolland Turnpike and Burnside Avenue.  He and his brother Ashbel built homes next door to each other - The homes were queer looking with sharp roofs and diamond paned windows and between them sttod a shop.  Enodias was something of a mathematician and difficult problems were sent to him from all parts of the State.  He lived near fork of road between Middle and Boston Turnpikes.  
    2. All of his children died of Consumption except for son Martin Bidwell.
