    3. Discrepancy on spelling of wife's first given name Perhannah or Ruhamah or  Ruhamer.
    4. Son Thomas was the administrator of his mother Prudence or Perhannah estate of 65 pounds and 8 shillings - equal shares to Thomas, Abigail, Perhannah and Martha Bidwell.

NOTES:
    1. Deacon Thomas Bidwell lived in Canton all his life, a man of straight forward honesty, energy and kindness, united with great plainness of speech.. Unshaken in the great truth of the gospel, in this he was an iron pillar and steadfast as a wall of brass, he lived and died in the confidence of his brethren.
    2. He served in the Revolutionary War 24 January 1778, was a Captain in the Bennington Alarm
    3. Wife Esther Orton Bidwell had great intelligence and correct judgement.
    4. Thomas and Ester are both buried in the Old Canton Burying Ground's.
    5. Thomas inherited his father's home - stayed in the Bidwell family for many years.
