      1. During the Revolutionary Timothy Davis (also a Quaker Preacher)- was an Ardent Whig, and wrote a pamphlet in favor of prosecuting the war, For this, he was disowned by his brethren (The Quakers)
      2. It has not been proven but - it is said that Jefferson Davis is supposedto be a descendant of Timothy Davis.
