NECESSARY EXPLANATIONS:
      His estate was valued at fifteen humdred pounds, & included 15 acres of landgiven to him by General Court, which had been assigned to his father, "he having been very helpful to his father." This land was afterwards laid out by his widow. The other heirs of Jonathan Sr. -brought suit to obtain title to their inherited right, which Court was obliged to recognize. The land in controversy was divided among all the heirs.
