      2. Marion Nicholls is a great-granddaughter of Walter Eli Wilcox, who was apolygamist.  He did a lot of genealogy work and would go to Logan to do the Temple work.  Two of his wives (Amanda and Maria) would go with him and would recordthe work done in their Books.  Thus, the work was recorded in Duplicate.   In the back of one of the Books was recorded the Life Story of Walter Eli WIlcox.  These Books were handed down to Marion by the Family Genealogist when she reachedthe age where she could not continue the work.  This was Maude Allen, whose name is found frequently as a Source on our sheets.  Many of our Family Group Sheets were made using the informaton from these Books.  The Books, and other valuable Genealogical Information, were placed in an antique trunk and were stored in apublic storage unit while our home was being built.  Professional thieves brokeinto the unit, replaced the lock, and stole the trunk, along with many other items stored there.  As a result, we cannot verify the accuracy of the informationon these Family Group Sheets.
      We have notified the Church Historian's Office of the loss and were told that many times this type of record will be found and turned in.  They have notified their people out in the field to watch for it and they are watching in their office.
