John HAWKINS

                       1. This John Hawkins  was born in England , and received a land grant in
    King Williams Co.,Va.,From the King of England.
    He also purchased land 1722 (from a grant given to Larkin Chew by the King)in
    Essex Co.,Va. A part of this land he willed in 1724 to his son William
    Hawkins & his
    wife Margaret in 1724, Essex Co.,Va. Witness' to the will are; Wm Conner -

    Thos Scott- Jas Dismukes - John Garrett - John Hudgens - John Boutwell.
    (These could be his son In Laws.)
    2. His wife was Mary LONG, they lived in Hanover Co.,Va.
    3. These are some of his children.
    4. His #2. wife was Sarah JOHNSON. (I think last 5 children were hers.)

    He was found with his family in Ancestral File 1993 by Judy Freeman.
    They give his birth date abt 1680, Oxfordshire county,England. His death 1740
    in King William Co.,Va. And that he married Mary LONG in England.

    Aunt Erlin found John Hawkins and said he married Mary LONG ,her father was
    John LONG, of King Williams Co.,Va.

    He emigrated to Va.,in 1705 , St Anne's Parish,Essex Co.,Va.
