NOTE:
Ray Curran Hard Married My Grandmother Katie Mae Pennington . Ella Mae (Kathleen Hard) was my (Dana Lee) mother. I am not aware of any of the details, I only know what I have heard. To my recollection Ray Curran devorced my grandmother shortly after their marriage. He remarried and had several children. When my mother found his new family they knew nothing of her and rejected her as being one of them, because their father Ray Curran never told them of his first marriage. Katie Mae Pennington then married Fred Schultz and they had another daughter Dorothy Schultz. I consider my Dorothy my Aunt. But she never considered me as a niece. My mother was rejected by the Schultz family. My Grandmother tried her best to be a good mother and Grandmother. She took care of me (Dana Lee) for about seven years from age 3-10 or 11 yrs.
He married Ella Augusta Platt 4 Jan 1875 at Pittsfield, Pike, Illinois . Ella Augusta Platt was born at Pittsfield, Pike, Illinois 31 Jan 1853 daughter of John H. Platt and Aleen Amorie Adams .
