Note: Isaac LeFevre, Jean Martin, and other French refugees came on the London Galley "Peter and Anthony" which arrived 20 Sep 1700 at the James River in Virginia. Isaac and Martin are on the 1700 meal list at Falling Creek Mill. Isaac and his wife settled at Manakin by 10 or 11 Nov 1701. Isaac LeFevre was the first professor of mathematics and physics at William and Mary College. (Isaac's relationship to the above Jean (John) Martin or Martain is unknown.) Note: Isaac and his wife were French Huguenots.
Note: Arrived with her brother in July 1700 on the "Mary and Ann," first ship of French refugees, for which there is no surviving passenger list. She is named Madeleine Parenteau in her will of 19 April 1720, written after Isaac's death and proved 6 June 1720 (Henrico County Probate Records)
