Edwin Ruthven MILES, FARMER
The Salt Lake 4 generation records show that E.R. Miles received his Endowment on 10 Feb l858 while the other records show he received his Endowment on 11 Mar 1857 at the endowment house in Salt Lake City. He came across the plains with his parent at 9 years old with the Heber C. Kimble Co. in l858. Later in l860 he helped settle Smithfield, Ut. with his wife and young son Jane Ruth Wakefield.

Glenn was killed in Musse Argonne Forest during world war one He was killed 4 Oct 1918 and the war ended ll Nov 1919. This was the battle which broke the back of Germany in world war one. There was not much fighting after this battle until the Germans gave up.
Olive was in the process of being born and was croppled all her life. She was taken care of in her adult life by Diana and Diana only lived 9 years after she died. Olive was in a wheel chair and had to be fed bathed and bathroomed all her life. How would you like that burdon.
