Could be Samuel Andrew Donaldson. There is a stone at Parkman which credits Samuel Donaldson with service as a private in Peck's Connecticut Troops, Revolutionary War. (G.#37 Not corroberated. Andrew Donaldson was born between 1760 and 1770 in Ireland. He must have come to America as a young man (if he is our soldier) and then returned to Ireland to marry Sally Stewart who also was born between 1760 and 1770 in Ireland. (G.#37) Andrew Donaldson settled on the farm adjoining William Rutan's upon the north and remained twenty years or more. He removed to Parkman, where some of his children had gone previously. #(2) The township was Champion in Trumbull County, OH. (IN.g.477) Not long after the settlement of Thomas Moore, his brother-in-law, James Donaldson, a native of Ireland, bought the farm south of that Henry Norton, upon which he built; first, a log house, and afterwards a frame one, in which he resided until his death, in 1863. . .In 1815, his brother, Samuel Donaldson, purchased the farm adjoining, and settled on it. Samuel served in the War of 1812 (W.a.112) and is buried in Row 26 of Old Cemetery in Parkman. There is no stone for Susannah. Bap., Endowment and Sealing to Parents was done at the Seattle Temple by the Miles Family 1992. Date sealed to Spouce was not sent to me by Laura.
