My Mother Sarah Bright Miles at the age of 67 years while visiting the New York City Library in 1967, she and my doughter Lanell Miles 13 years found a sketch or small book on the Penn. Bright or Brecht family. We had it copied and brought it with us. Sarah took this "Historical Sketch of the Bright Family" by A. G. Green to the Salt Lake City Genealogical Society and with their help found on page 3 in the beginning paragraph finds this John Brights born 1764 father. Also p 6, p 12. This John born 1764 is found on page 14. This John married Susanna Ginther and followed his Uncle Michael to Tennessee p12. All the Bright Family rejected this finding of my mother but as time has past most believe it because there is no one who has found a better conection. I honor my mother Sarah for her great Genealoogical ability and her determination to do research even though she lived in poverty and many times what she spent on research she had to go without food, cloths or something else. Dale Bright Miles.
