It is not known when she died or what her name was, the date of Isles marriage to the Widow Sarah Wilson in 1752 would indicate that she had either died or left. No record has come to light as to the names of the mother of these two.Currituck, NC Will Book 1, page 19: July 1762:Isles Cooper of Currituck Co. NC, planter, leaves to son John Cooper one young cow worth 20 shillings; to daughter Elizabeth Ferebee, one young cow valued at 20 shillings; to granddaughter Ann Ferebee, 1 young cow called....and her heifer and her increase: to William Brock Wilson, one feather bed and furniture and one cow called...to him and his heirs forever: to dearly beloved wife Sarah Cooper, all the...her part of my moveable part of the estate. Wife Sarah Cooper to be executrix and son-in-law William Ferebee and son John Cooper, executors. Dated July 1762, witnessed by ....Stanley and Samuel Halstead. Proven Aug 25, 1763.The English line of the Ferebee family, copy of page 40, in sec 3 sent by James Vincent of Huntington Beach, CA gives 1745 marriage of William Ferebee, only son of Thomas Ferebee to Elizabeth Cooper, of Brunswick Co., daughter of Isles Cooper, who was a member of the General Assembly of North Carolina under the Colonial Government from Currituck County. (JG Note-Brunswick did not become county until 1764, formed from New Hanover/Bath, Bath involved Beaufort County beginning 1712)
