Thomas LENOIR
Some sources say Thomas married Mourning in Ireland where he had fled to escape Huguenot persecution in France and they emigrated to Edgecomb Co.,NC. A key Lenoir ref: "Echoes of Happy Valley" by Thomas Felix Hickerson. Lived in Brunswick Co., Va. In 1760 they moved to Edgecombe Co., NC, on the Tar River near Tarborough, where he died in 1765.
