NOTE: The records said that Owen, the eldest son was 7 in 1595, being under age at the death of his father. The Queen on 16 Oct 1595 granted his marriage and wardship to Hugh Lewis gent., but Owen declined the alhanes and entered upon his property some land in Nevern whereupon Hugh Lewis in 1612 brought action against him to recover 200 pounds in damages. Hugh Lewis had proposed to marry Owen (his ward) to Elizabeth Symins.
NOTE: On the 3rd of April Owen and a Thomas Picton (no doubt his oldest son by his first wife) leavied to George Owen Picton"gent." a fine of a Messerage (house lands and out buildings) and 182 acres of land in Nevern and on the 12 Sep 1636 Owen Picton and Elizabeth, his wife, and John Picton"Gent." (probably the brother of Owen Picton) leavied to Thomas Picton "gent." (eldest son of Owen and Newphew of John) a fine of two messuages and 196 acres of land at Nevern, Pembroke, Wales.
He married Jenet Phillips Abt 1576 at Pembroke, Wales . Jenet Phillips was born at of Penypark, Nr. Haverfordwest, Pembroke, Wales Abt 1557 daughter of James Phillips and Mrs. James Phillips .
