The above census would place Robert H. Mills as born in Tennessee in
    1833.  This is consistent with 1) The 1865 Bourbon County Census, 2) The birth
    date in the Mills family Bible.

I found another Robert Mills that was born in Tennessee. The 1850
    census in Jefferson County, Tennessee gave the following:

    ***    Robt.     18   M  Laborer    TN
             John      16   M                 TN
             Eliza       11   F                  TN
             Porter      6   M                 TN
             Hannah    4   F                  TN

The above census would place Robert's birth in 1832.
    I believe the first census is the correct Mills family. I still
    need to confirm this. I will send for Robert H. Mills death certificate.

   According to the family Bible, he died 3 March 1901. He most likely
    died in Kansas or Missouri.

The sources of his birth and death are somewhat unknown. The known
documentation is as follows:
1. The death certificate of Robert Leroy Mills states that his father's name was "Robt".
2. The 1910 Census of Robert Leroy Mills states that his father was born in Tennessee.
3. The Mills family Bible from Aunt Eva Sparks (who got it from Chester Mills), states that R.H. Mills was born on March 25th, 1833. Immediately after this is the birthdate of his wife, Elisabeth E. Mills (22 Apr 1839), Robert L. Mills, Grant Mills, Anna Mills, etc. The same family Bible states that R.H. Mills died on 3 Mar 1901.
