NOTES: August 2011 - Looking on Ancestry.com 1880 Indiana census I found Nancy E age 34 married to Leander age 29 She had John H, U or V Peak age 14 Albert J Peak age 11 Rachael Peak age 5 NOTES: August 2011 - Google search Leander Mantlo 1849 brought up (GP 23:Gov.John Calvin Brown Papers, 1871-1875) In this Leander Mantlo is listed in Box #12 - Pardons, Paroles & Clemencies. also his death info came from ancestry.com Indiana deaths 1882-1920. NOTES: August 2011 - google search, Highland Lawn Cemetery, Leander Mantlo, brought up their headstone. Plot: Section 6 Find A Grave Memorial# 28619826 NOTES: July 2013 - In ancestry.com : All Red River Settlers, it has both Leander and Lieander born 27 August, not November which I had, so I changed to August. Also: In All Indiana Deaths, 1882-1920 Leander was 59 when he died. Also: 1900 Census: Leander age 59, America age 42, Chas H age 14, Forrest age 12, Lulu age 11. NOTES: August 2013 - Leander age 9 months is listed in the 1850 US Census with his father & siblings only. Census taken in Aug 1850 so the twins would have to be born in Nov 1849. NOTES: August 2013 - Leander age 10 is listed in the 1860 US Census with some siblings, father & step mom. NOTES: April 2010 - Looking on Ancestry.com in Tennessee State Marriages I found Lysander and Malinda M F Roe's marriage. They both signed the certificate. It looks like he signed Lisander but it was Lysander in four places on the certificate. Hers was definitely Malinda M F Roe. NOTES: March 2011 - Info came from his death certificate on line with ancestry. It says his birth month is August but in the 1850 census taken in August, he and Leander are both 9/12 in age. NOTES: August 2011 - Looking on Ancestry.com found marriage for Lysander and Harriett. NOTES: March 2013 - On www.findagrave.com website I verified his birth, death, spouses, parents & three children, Charles, Alfred, Baby girl Find A Grave Memorial# 48053503 NOTES: July 2013 - In ancestry.com : All Red River Settlers, it has both Leander and Lieander born 27 August, not November which I had, so I changed to August.
