U.S. / Canada film #1249022 H630 1900 census. Said Lula was born Aug 1878.
Her death cert. says 1875, Mildred said 1874.

NOTES: George A Hart - A Civil War Veteran, buried in section 4A of the Smithfield, Utah cemetery.
The headstone reads GEO. A. HART CO.F. 21 WIS. INF.
He enlisted at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin in 1864.
The reunion proceedings for the Association for the Twenty First Wisconsin
Regiment listed George A Hart's address as "Geneseo, Kansas" from 1891 to 1896.

An 1883 State of Kansas History reads: G.A. Hart, dealer in general merchandise, opened business
October 2, 1872. He now has the oldest established store in Russell. He erected the first store building in the village in the summer of 1872, size of which is 22x60 feet at a cost of $1,800, since built an addition 12x40 feet at a cost of $500. He now carries a stock of $10,000. He owns 320 acres of land nearly all cultivated. He has been Township Treasurer and City Councilman four terms. Born April 2, 1825, in Upper Canada. Was raised on a farm, moved to Neenah, Wisconsin, in 1856. Moved to Waupun, Dodge Co 1865, following farming. Enlisted February 24, 1864 in Company F, Twenty-first Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, participated in fourteen battles and never received a scratch, was mustered out in July 1865, when he returned to Wisconsin and farmed until he came to Kansas: married in 1852 to Miss Deborah A. Comer, of Upper Canada. He is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church and a member of the G.A.R. of Waupun, Wisconsin.

said Lula was born Aug 1878. Her death cert. says 1875. Mildred says 1874.

NOTES: Wellington Jefferson known as (Hart) does not know much, or won't talk about his parents.
Lula was supposedly kidnapped from Sweden. George was 50 years older than Lula.
Her death certificate says Peter J Hart (birthplace, Sweden) as her father and Annie (unknown) as her mother (birthplace Sweden).

NOTES: February 2007 - All info verified with death certificate online in the Utah Death Certificate index Lula died of
carcinoma of breast with metastasis to lungs. See certificate in my Hart file.
