Baptized 5 Aug 1898 by P.G. Thatcher
Confirmed 5 Aug 1898 by J. de Waal
Ordained a Seventy on the 14 Dec 1919 by J. Golden Kimball
Ordained a High Priest 23 Jan 1927 by Hyrum Belnap
Recorded at the 13th Ward, Ogden Stake No. 340 line A 214 by Russel Pulspipher, ward clerk, 30 Jan 1927

NOTES: Arie Mechiel Johannes Noorlander, imigrated with his wife Angenietha Margaretha Hennekam Noorlander and 5 children, (Angenietha Margaretha, Arie Mechiel, John Hendrik, Mechiel, and Frederik), from Rotterdam, Netherlands to Ogden, Utah. On the ship Arabic.  They arrived in New York 28 April 1907.  They arrived in Ogden about the 11th May 1907.
Johannes Noorlander, arrived in Ogden, Utah the 25th May 1905 and Judik arrived in Ogden May 1906.
Gerritje, (or Gertie also called Margaret) arrived in Ogden July 1907.

NOTES: See Certificate of Naturalization in my Noorlander certificate file dated 16 Jan 1922. His name is spelled Arie
Miegiel Johanes Noorlander. Dark complexion, 5'10", 165 lbs, black hair, blue eyes.

There is a discrepancy with these two files on the children. The family group sheet has these eight
children and the Dutch print out only has six children.

Machiel age 83 jaar when he died.
                  

                   NOTES: April 2006 - Info from family group sheets Jim Noorlander gave me has the following information.
Helena Jacoba Noorlander, born 22 July 1863 was kidnapped by a band of (Segeuners) Gypsies, who were roaming in and
around the city of Rotterdam for a week. Helena was missing the day the Gypsies moved their camp out of the country.
Nothing was heard from her again. In 1869 she was declared legally dead.
