Marriage date 28 JKan 1853 "both from Larbert Parish....Falkirk Record Archives. As their first child was born in 1835, it seems likely that they were unofficially married on 28 Jan 1833 with later proclamations and official marriage on the 10 year and 20 th year anniversary.
