The IGIm shows that Mary's parents are John Taylor and Janet .....,however Mary's third daughter is named Janet McCallum Walkenshaw. Since both the daughter and grandmother have the same first name, it is most probable that the daughter's middle name of McCallum is the grandmother's maiden name. The SCR does show a Janet McCallum c. 2 Aug 1752 in Stirling, Stirling, Scotland, which is about the right time and place.
