NAME: Morgin/Morgan The will of Thomas Morgin dated 1 Apr 1774 mentions 17 children. Nine of these children were from his first marriage to Lettice/Leatice Evans. The rest were from his second (1750) marriage to Ester Taylor. Therefore, Thomas could not have been the Thomas Morgan/Morgin born 23 May 1725. His birth was closer to 1702. Thomas' will was proved 23 May 1774. Lewis and Elizabeth Morgin/Morgan are the probable parents of Thomas Morgin. NOTE: Bedford was created in 1753 from Lunenburg,VA. NOTE: It is said that Thomas Morgan was killed while standing in the door of his mill. An arrow had hit him in the head.

NOTE: Reece was a soldier int he Revolution, guarding the frontier against the Shawnee and the Cherokee. He was in the battles of Camden and Guilford, Connecticut and at Jude's Ferry on the James River in Virginia, when Gen. Cornwallis was in the colony.
