    Error:?   Mysterious problem.  Family Archive Record has a "Do not Seal" in the space following "Sealed to Husband".  See file in Glenn H. Thomas  set of files on Steele line.  Why is this ordinance denied to this couple.  Their children are not sealed to the parents either as shown on the Archive Record. Why?  The children were all baptized and endowed in 1939 and 1940.  Sheet was submitted by Zula R. Cole, 843 3rd North, Logan, Utah; but this was 50 years ago.  The Heir is William Steele and his relationship to James Steele Jr. is g.g.neph.i.l.
    James Steele Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Armstrong Mann had nine children and since the 2nd child is named John Armstrong Steele, this wife appears to be the mother of the children, not a step mother-so why the denial of Husb and Wife sealing?  To be investigated later (present = 10 feb 1990).
    On 31 Jul 1990 Glenn H. Thomas personally participated in the sealing of James Steele Jr to Elizabeth Armstrong and had their children sealed to them; done in the Los Angeles Temple.
    Years ago the Church did not allow sealing of a woman to 2nd husband and now that policy is no longer in force.
