FUNDS COLLECTED BY ESTHER LINGENFELTER OF THE FOURTH GENERATION. editors note: Barbara Imler, born 1734, was the mother of Christina Walter, wife of Frederick b.1780 Claar. Barbara b. 1734 chose the site for this cemetery, (presumably, also the site if her final resting place,) and was the first one burried in this cemetery. Frederick b.1780 and Christina b.1780 (Walter) Claar donated the ground for the Upper Claar Church and Cemetery.
