    Names as "John Jubal LEE" in Family Bible Record, which also gives death date. Bible Record also gave Wife's name as "Elizabeth Jane MONTGOMER" and provides marriage date.
    Served in the Confederate Army in the Civil War, a Private in Captain Reagan's Company of the 2nd Regiment Arkansas Mounted Rifles. Listed as "deserted" on muster roll of 28 Feb 1862-30 Apr 1862. (Note: Many times people who were listed as deserters were actually prisoners of war).
