Co NC.. He married second time to Nancy Hamilton 17 Dec 1824 in Orange Co NC.
also family bible of Thomas Bird in Possession of Richard P Aldridge..The
originial copy is in the possession of J W Vanhook of Roxboro, NC.. Marriage
of Nancy and Thomas also from the family bible.. Nancy also applied for a
Pension being Thomas was in service... Nancy wife of Thomas Bird died 1 May
1858 age 94 and buried at Crossroads Church Cemetery Alamance Co NC..
Nancy Hamilton Bird (Byrd) also recieved a Widow's Claim for Bouunty Land..
the claim says she appeared personally that day 1st of December 1855 in
Alamance Co NC. and she was 87 years old and a resident of Alamance Co NC.. and
also she was the wideow of Thomas Byrd deceased, and she married Thomas Byrd
in Orange Co NC.,23rd of December 1824 and that her maiden name was Nancy
Hamilton and that her husband died the year 1835 May the 13th..
Thomas Byrd has a Rev War record. Richard P Aldridge has copy of it and also
a copy of the Bounty Land Claim..  Thomas Bird and Nancy Hamilton sealed 15 May
1974 Los Angeles temple.
