Mr Walter Allred told Richard P Aldridge personally that his great told him
that a Henry Aldridge came up from Georgia about the time of the civil war and
visited the Aldridges here in Caswell Co NC.. Probably this is the time he met
Elizabeth Dameron daughter of John Dameron and Jane Richmond Dameron..There
children: Jane (Jennie) age 8, Catherine (Cate) age 7, Sarah(Saley) age 5,
Frank age 14 , from the 1870 census except Frank and his came off the 1880
census of Harelson Co Ga.. Catherine married a .......Helton and Sarah .....
married a .........., Ford. Elizabeth was age 15 in 1850 in the census of
Caswell Co NC She married Patrick Henry Aldridge 6 March 1860.. He was James
Aldridge son..
James Samuel Dameron was age 14 in 1850 census of Caswell NC.. He married
Kate Elizabeth Roberts 1 Aug 1860 in Orange Co . He was a Prmitive Bapttist
preacher .. He lost his mind and was sent to Morganton , NC to a hospital.

Co NC.. John R Browning was killed in the civil war
