                   David and Martha were baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1852.  In 1860 they immigrated to America, crossing the plains pulling a handcart, arriving in Salt Lake City on 24 Sep 1860.  In 1865 they moved to Heber.  David was killed in a landslide at Devil's Gate in Weber canyon while working on the U.P railway (11 Aug 1868).
