                   John was a Revolutionary Ward soldier
He is buried at Graham Cemetery on Bill Lovelace Farm, Dandridge, Jefferson,tenn.

He was in Boutetout County, Va and moved to Davsville, Tenn. after the Rev. War.  He fought in the French and Indian War in l753 and l760.  He was granted 60 acres in VA for his services in this wa.r
